Botticelli
Sandro Botticelli was born in Florence in 1455, he worked in the same studio that was frequented by Leonardo Da Vinci, until in 1470 he opened his own workshop. A considerable amount of his paintings was commissioned by the Medici, who became his most fervent supporters. The “Birth of Venus” is one of Botticelli’s most important creations, based on the Roman-Greek mythology. The Botticelli fountain pen is the first model of a series of pen dedicated to the best artists of all times.

For the first time the barrel of an Italian pen is a piece of art of its own, a handmade miniature that reproduces one of the most famous works by the artist. The accuracy and finesse with which every detail is outlined make it an authentic masterpiece. The making of each miniature painting requests a week to be accomplished and the use of magnifying lenses in order to faithfully reproduce the original. This outstanding fountain pen does not only celebrate the single artist, but at the same time represents all the creative power and inventive techniques of humanity.
